This book I have just read is a wonderful account of Cornish life in the sixties, I love the recipe for making Cornish pasties found at the back of the book, it's from his mum's recipe used back in the mid sixties. I, found many interesting things in this book, I found out about Geevor tin mine and St Michaels Mount, as well as the merry maidens a whole lot more.
Follow Michael and what he experienced from 1966 to 1967, and the way of life in Cornwall in the 1960s. Finally, follow his life in mainstream school and what that turned out to be like for him.
